» Bruststraffung

By China at 8:03 PM

A friend of mine turned me on to an online dating site. I love it because I get to interact with people all over the world. I have met some exciting people so far, nothing really hot yet, but I am a people person and just truly enjoy interacting with everyone on this site. Some guys seem to think the place is a meat market and begin a conversation with something sexual. I am not sure if this is because of the communication barrier between myself and some of the international men, or if this is what they are intending to say. Well, now it seems that I am constantly receiving weird e-mail messages in other languages, and I am not sure whether or not they are legit e-mails or they contain viruses or something like this. I know that the one guy was really annoyed at me and kept sending me online messages over and over again. I am concerned that somehow he figured out my e-mail addy and now he is trying to destroy my computer. The messages are like these:

These e-mails are coming more and more everyday, and I just can't put an end to this madness. I just wish I knew who was sending them, and whether or not they are harmful to my computer.

» six sigma training

By China at 9:58 AM

My brother was talking to me yesterday on the phone about his new job in New York city. He said that he has been hired as an associate manager from which point they want to develop him in to their personal efficiency expert. HE said that he laughed when they said that he would be doing that because if you know my brother you wouldn't be surprised. He is not what you would call an efficient person. I would have to say that a better way to describe him is laid back. He is the type of person who would much prefer to sit in his house and play music with a bunch of people than even consider building something or writing a book in his spare time. That's one of the things that I love most about him. I consider myself to be a completely organized and efficient person. I get really anxious if the items within my life or the plans I have don't work out. He on the other hand could care less what he's doing as long as he can get some time to chill out every day.

So his company has hired him for the plan of developing him in to this efficiency guru you could say. They have arranged for him to get this six sigma training which I guess is a pretty big deal. He said that after the trainings he will be responsible for maintaining a growth in their efficiency and their productivity. Basically he gets to stand above the whole process of making furniture at this place and he'll get to play little games with them to see how fast they can work and how much they can get done. HE seems pretty excited about it because first of all he's going to get paid a bunch of money. It's also exciting for him because it's like a video game in that he doesn't really control what they're making or what the goal is, but what he does control is the individual moves and which ones get the company to those goals. I'm excited for him I just hope that he doesn't go too loose on this job and get fired or something.

» Finding Affordable health insurance

By China at 5:37 PM

Good health insurance information? That's what I've been searching for online the last month or so and I've learned a lot
in the process. There are so many different health insurance companies on the market so it can definately become frustrating
to say the least. I wanted a good company that wasn't going to charge a huge amount of money so the search wouldn't be easy.
I wanted to find Affordable Health Insurance with great coverage. After going to several websites I wasn't at first happy with my
health insurance quotes & results....the companies I found were not in the price range I was looking for plus the medical insurance they offered took forever
to get a quote. During my search one day I found an incredible website that offered health insurance quotes free of charge and
got 5 quotes delivered to me and the best part is that it only took a minute or so to complete the medical insurance form. I mean, it was the
easiest thing I've done in a while and the prices for medical insurance quotes were cheaper than all of the other companies I looked at by a country mile.
Searching the web with companies that offer multiple quotes is definately the way to go. You increase your chances of both saving
money and getting a policy you and your family can afford. Be sure to look at what the health insurance company is rated. There
are several companies on the market that rate them based on operating and financial performance. One of the best health insurance rating
companies is the AM Best company. You tend to see online they have more respect than some of the others and the results seem
to be most accurate over time. Getting health insurance on the internet is a wonderful thing if you just search. Quality and reputable health insurance companies
will give you quotes after they ask you some basic health questions...steer clear of health insurance quotes sites that ask you a ton of personal
information up front. Like I said...many will ask some questions and that's normal for an accurate quote...if the company asks nothing at all other
than your age and the very basics....be leary. It's usually a bait and switch type technique and the website I mentioned above is a great one and
they are very, very reputable and have been around a while now.

» promotional pens

By China at 7:16 PM

It seems like for years and years companies have been giving away promotional pens. I like the pen idea, and since a business needs pens and since so many people accidentally walk out of businesses with their pens, this seems like a good advertising idea. Since the early days however, the area of promotional items has really expanded, and now a days these companies find there are many different promotional items and products that are in high demand. There are many things that I am sure you have seen like promotional umbrellas, coffee mugs, promotional bags and t-shirts, even these days' mouse pads. It has become such a large business that it seems like everyday there are newer and more innovative ideas on the horizon. It is honestly hard for a business to keep up in this ever changing world.

One great business idea is to find a growing promotional products company who offers outstanding customer service and keeps adding to their selection of products. One such company I have been dealing with has by far exceeded any of my expectations in the level of customer satisfaction that they provide me with. On the rare occasion that I have had a problem a rep has been there to take me through it from beginning to end. And not only that but they give me courtesy call after to make sure that everything has been addressed, and not a computer generated call like some companies do, but an actual live person addressing me by my name. Now this is a real treat. To be treated like a valued customer by a company is truly refreshing.

Now granted handing out promotional umbrellas is not the only thing that you can do to promote your business. I do however, think that if you start getting some promotional items and passing them out, you will find that they significantly improve your customer retention and they also are great gifts that you can use to improve employee moral and retention. It seems like a very simple concept, but somehow this quick and easy way to improve business, get your name out there and make employees and customers happier is often overlooked by many business owners.

As a business owner keeping up with times is an important thing. Be sure to use every means possible to keep your business flowing even through these tough economic times

» Brazilian women

By China at 3:49 PM

The world of online dating has really become very advanced of late. I know it may sound a bit shallow of me, but I like what I like. Some people like fat women, some like black chicks, some like the really skinny ones, and as for me I love Brazilian women.

There are many internet dating sites that don't allow you to search for women that are just your type, however, I think that is dumb. You should be allowed to look up prospective dates under what ever criteria you choose. Choosing by what is important to you will insure that you find just the person you are looking for. As a matter of fact this has been such an important aspect of online dating that certain matchmaking sites only deal in certain types of hook ups. For instance, there are now websites out there that are just meant to match up fat women and the men who love them, some sites are for the gold diggers who are only looking for men and women under the criteria of how much they are worth. In my opinion, these websites are the best as they are geared to what people are really looking for, which is a match with someone who has their most important criteria.

There are now websites for everyone and if you are considering the world of online dating than you need to be aware of all the different options out there. There are sites for senior citizens, for gothic love, sites available for polyamourous relationships (meaning love with more than one partner), there are Christian dating sites, geek sites, and even sites for those who have a bit more romantic and artsy nature.

Internet dating can be an easy task especially if you can find a website specifically linked to the things that interest you most in the opposite sex. Look at it this way the more you have in common with these people the better your chance is of making a love connection.

As with all online dating, be sure to use your head. Don't give the other person a lot of personal information in the beginning of your communications with them. Be sure that when you do meet with them that you meet them in a public place and don't give them your home address or home phone number. If you must give them a phone number then give them a prepaid cell number to contact you at, this way if things go south, you can ditch the phone and they can't get any personal information about you from the number.

» NFL picks

By China at 8:24 PM

The summer around here can be so dull. While most of us have no time to play because our classes are moving so fast, we really do need to find time to put ourselves in to the picture while the weather is nice. I am not one of those people though that will choose a bike ride or a hike when the weather is nice. I am more of a computer person. When the weather turns great I take out my laptop and hit a park or a nice field somewhere.

This past week was unbearably hot though so I decided to try something else. I went to a new coffee shop and began to catch up with all of my friends who had left for the summer or for graduation. Most pf them emailed me back the same day and we got back on the same page fairly quickly. The next day we all decided we would stick to all of our normal rituals, as inspired by the ongoing saga of the NBA playoffs. Every year we all follow each major sport very closely and bet on the games with each other, We never wager very much but it is more just for fun and something to bond over. Right now since the NBA finals are almost done we have decided to skip them and move on to the next one.

I have already begun my NFL picks for the season. We all bet on the teams that will make it in to the playoffs and bet on which teams will win each week. Each of our football picks is worth about a dollar, which does add up, and at the end of each week we even out. I know that some may think, like my girlfriend, that we should be long past this since every one of us is over twenty-one and should have better things to do with our time. Unfortunately for the downers in the crowd none of us care about what is expected of us. We just want to have fun doing what we have found makes us happy and brings us together.

» chiropractors

By China at 6:35 PM

My friend Karen has always gone to chiropractors. I remember when we were little and I would go to see the medical doctor, she would go off to the chiropractor. As we got a little older, my mother let me go with sometimes. I always loved going with Karen to the chiropractor's office. The people were really nice and friendly and I loved the fact that nothing hurt you.

I had many trips to the medical doctor when I was a child, and I hated every last one. I found the whole experience degrading and uncomfortable. I didn't like taking my clothes off and putting on a gown, and I definitely didn't like the needles. As a matter of fact when I was about 12 my mother took me to the pediatrician for a shot and I remember I ran out of the office. I remember having to go back a few days later, and my father having to take off work to help my mother take me to the doctor and force me into getting the needle. Yuck! Now that I make my own decisions about my health and my care, I stay far away from the medical doctor's office. I will only go to them when I am dying, this way I know that they are my last resort. I have since begun chiropractic care myself and have found an excellent Bethesda Chiropractor who takes really good care of me. My mother has never supported this non-medical philosophy and when we were kids I would hear my parents talking about what wacko's Karen's parents were for taking such a small child to a back cracker. Well, obviously a very uneducated perception of what a chiropractor does, but still the same they meant well I guess.

Karen recently called me, since she had hurt her back at work. She has a factory job and does a lot of lifting. In any case, she had been to her chiropractor with very little results and she asked me if I could talk to my chiropractor for her. Well, I did and he said that there was nothing better than a technique called Lordex for extreme low back disc problems. He gave me the name and number of a friend of his who practices locally and would be more than happy to check Karen out. Well, Karen went, and sure enough got some excellent results from her chiropractic care. The chiropractor told her that her years of chiropractic care prior to her injury had really helped her and made her recovery period much shorter.

» florists

By China at 4:05 PM

Recently, I received a very unique gift. The item was a candy arrangement and it was delivered right to my door. My unique arrangement consisted of an orange crush bottle filled with orange crush. The top of the bottle was uniquely decorated with hard candies and curly ribbons in all different colors. Sticking straight out of the top, and looking sort of like a candle is a multi colored candy stick. The whole thing is really cute and having it delivered in the same way that you have flowers delivered made it a really special gift.

The company that shipped this to me specializes in these kinds of arrangements, and although they are very unique, I think that it would be easy enough for florists to provide this kind of arrangement in addition to all the wonderful services they already provide. I have not received many of these home flower deliveries myself, but I have actually sent quite a few. As a matter of fact I want to send one to my aunt this week. She is just coming home from the hospital and I want to do something special to cheer her up. She has been having a long hard battle with cancer, and has been in and out of the hospital for the past year. I can tell that she is getting really tired of the whole thing, and I am afraid that it won't be long before she throws in the towel. You see my aunt has always been like one of my best friends. She has always been full of life, spunk and energy. I can see that the cancer is getting the best of her, and I am sure that she can see it too. She can't go out much, and as a person who has always loved the sun and the beach, I know this time of year is especially difficult for her. I am glad that I can send her some flowers to cheer her up, but unfortunately I also know that it will be only a temporary bright light in a very dark world. To meet her, you would never know that she is suffering. She smiles and laughs and pretends that nothing is wrong, but when I look in her eyes I see the hollowness that hides behind the I'm okay attitude, and I can tell that her hopes are fading. I guess it is her constant smile through the adversities of life that make her my favorite person on the planet.

» smart lipo

By China at 3:37 PM

I had lunch with one of my high school friends the other day. I'll admit, I was a bit surprised at how great she looked. I mean, she wasn't an ugly girl by any means; she ate well and exercised regularly and was probably more healthy than everyone in our group combined. But she always had a bit of a muffin top no matter how many sit ups she did or organic cereal bars she munched during the day. When I saw her, though, it was somehow gone. I wasn't exactly sure how she had finally managed to get rid of it but I suspected foul play.

Halfway through lunch, we started joking about the old days and how everyone used to look. This was my chance to find out the truth! So I pounced on the opportunity. I first complimented her on how great she looked now, then asked her how she had done it. Leaning forward as if it were a huge secret, she whispered two words: smart lipo.

I looked at her like she was crazy. I mean, I thought liposuction was just a procedure; I didn't know it could be smart. I wanted to ask her if dumb lipo existed but refrained so I wouldn't sound obnoxious. She explained calmly that SmartLipo was a type of procedure that used a laser to melt fat instead of liquid. Not being much of a liposuction buff, I had no idea what she was talking about. I figured you just lay the person in question on a hospital bed and stick a tube in them and wait for globs of fat to come oozing out into bags, but I guess that's just the way it's depicted in movies. She also mentioned that two other techniques, CoolLipo and ProLipo, existed (as you can imagine, I went to town with THOSE names. LameLipo or AmateurLipo, anyone?).

I asked her how much the Smartlipo cost and she replied that it was about 30% less than traditional liposuction methods. I hadn't asked her how much less it was, I just wanted to know how much the smart lipo cost. If I had known she wanted to play ring around the answer to my questions I wouldn't have asked any in the first place, but of course it was too late for that. Then she started blabbing on about how quick the procedure was, and how she was back at work within 2 days, and how it barely even hurt, and all that other related stuff that was just too much for me to listen to at one time.

Luckily, she tired of rambling on endlessly about her cosmetic liposuction and we finally got back to laughing and joking again. I did learn something today: next time I notice a friend has lost weight, I'm not saying a word! Serves them right for losing weight in the first place.

» credit repair

By China at 3:23 PM

I feel like there should be a class in college to teach you specifically about credit lines. When a bank or an advertisement is telling you about credit, they tell you only the good things. Like no charges for a year or a certain percent cash back.

I work at a clothing store and I have worked at a different one in the past and before you start working for the day they do a 'touch base' which is basically just the manager telling you how well the store is doing at that point in the day. So if I started work at 1 p.m. and the store had been open already for four hours, they would expect you to have a certain dollar amount sold by 1 p.m. and a certain number of client turnout like for every two people who come in one of them has to buy something and it has to be at least three items, or something specific like that. But the biggest thing is the credit card for that specific store. You have a credit card goal and you are expected to meet it. This is the most important stat for a lot of stores (at least the ones that I have worked at and heard about), because this keeps the clients coming back for more. It basically ties them to the store. They get promotions in the mail with their statement every month that reminds them to come back to our store. So when we arrive for the day we are told over and over again that each client needs to be asked three different ways if they want to open a card. So someone on the floor will ask and talk about a discount on certain items you receive when opening the card or the person working in the fitting room will talk about the free shipping and then finally the person at the register will say that you can save ten percent when you open the card on your first purchase. Notice how none of those people told you about high interest rates or past clients that have spent so much that their credit was beyond repair.

So make sure when you are looking into getting a credit card, you know what it says in the fine print and that you keep track of your credit report so that you won't have to deal with credit repair years down the road. And make sure you take advantage of the free credit report offered. then you will not be in need of credit repair.

» forex education

By China at 10:14 AM

The foreign exchange market can be a little confusing to the newcomer. This market functions much differently from that of the regular stock exchange. In the forex market, currencies are exchanged in pairs and this market runs 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I didn't really understand all of this when I first began looking into it either, but then I got online and participated in a forex discussion with a great guy who really explained the whole thing to me in lay terms and was willing to keep going with the discussion until he was really sure that I had it figured out. Since then I do a lot of forex discussions for advice and to help others as I am learning as well. I have done a lot of my forex education online, and have gotten some great free forex tips as well.

I can honestly say to you that there is quite a lot of money to be made in this foreign market, but there is also a lot to know before you begin trading. Here are some wise tips that I have used and they have worked well for me.

1. Research before you begin trading - if you don't your trading will be the same as going into a casino, a game of luck with your money as a stake.

2. Go online and practice trading on a Free 90 day demo account. Many companies offer these and this will give you a free opportunity to take some risks and get some exposure and familiarity with the market without any risk.

3. Go with the trend. Trading with the trend will maximize your chances for success.

4. Always be sure to take a look at the big picture and not just in the time frame that you are trading in for the best success at least look carefully at the whole picture.

5. Never trade more than 2-3% of your trading account. It is the wise trader who makes the smaller trades. Yes, this is less of a gamble, but in the long run you will find that your profits will exceed your losses.

6. Be sure not to let your emotions rule you. Always trade calmly and premeditative. Don't rush to make a rash decision and don't be reactionary with your trading. If you suffer a loss or make a bad move, take your time and think through your next move.

7. Pick a time frame that works for you. For some people it is trading every 10 or 15 minutes, but for some people it is trading every 24 hours. Either way, pick a time frame that you are comfortable with.

What I have found is that using these free forex tips you can learn to successfully trade in the forex market. Be sure to use those 90 day free demo accounts. That is the most helpful thing in getting things like timing and trends down.

Skip the Green - Go with White Tea

If you've never been able to get on board the green tea craze, your time has finally come. But nobody is going to force you to get with the green. In fact, you can probably skip it all together in favor of a milder tasting, just-as-healthy alternative. White tea is derived from the same tea plant as green tea, but in a slight different way. This means that the ingredients and antioxidants that make green tea so popular also are in white tea.

Green tea might get all the publicity, but white tea has been simply biding its time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to spring forth with its natural goodness.

The time has come.

White tea, along with its disease fighting properties and antioxidants, has sprung forth. It is sold in many forms including the classic tea leaf and inside a tea bag used for hot or iced tea, but white tea is also the base of many popular tea-to-go alternatives. Most recently, white tea took the role as the base for the natural energy drink, Revolution 3D.

In this particular combination, you have the power of super fruits such as blueberries and green apples which are known for their high number of antioxidants as well as their exceedingly nutritious qualities. You also have the vitamins you need on a daily basis. Finally, you have the base of white tea.

In this case, the white tea lends its mild flavor to create a delicious blend with the natural flavors of the super fruits. It also boosts the antioxidant power of the beverage. Finally you still get the many other benefits of white tea including lowering blood pressure, preventing cancer, building bone mass, and helping to keep your smile healthy and bright.

» security scanner

By China at 9:48 AM

Some people have been saying that the whole internet has to be dismantled and recreated to safeguard for the sorts of problems it faces today. I personally think that that will never happen on a large scale because that would simply shut down many people's lives. We have become so dependent upon the system we have today that to deprive people of that would be an act of cruelty. That's not to say that there wouldn't be a lot of value and unused funding when it comes to the current budgets for security and safety.

The internet we have is fraught with problems, loopholes, and glitches. There are people out there working twenty-four hours a day to try and keep it all going. People from the electrician all the way to the software designer are trying to make the best of what we have and make it all work more elegantly than ever before. The biggest thing that would change in the process of revamping the internet from scratch would be that we could safeguard from things like sql injection which is by far the easiest way for hackers to just destroy lives on the internet. Identity theft would have to be done another way.

For now though the key to managing internet use is the constant development of the security scanner software. Internet viruses and hackers develop like real world illnesses. They begin as something simple and over time and exposure to new remedies, they adapt and destroy. Those people working on the security systems will never get a day off because there is a constant supply of people out there who think that they can make it rich through stealing information on the internet. Though they are correct if they are successful, the longer they are out there hacking, the more likely someone will develop a program to catch them. If they make one wrong turn or try and hack one wrong site they are going to jail for a very long time.

Though it may be fairly easy for us to recreate a new internet out of a totally new system if people can live without it for a bit, we must live with what we have and try to overcome those who are using it for their own negative actions.

» gift baskets

By China at 9:27 AM

The other day I was watching his show on television that had inspired me to try something a bit different for a sales call. My summer job right now is a sales internship where I go to various companies around town and try to sell name brand cutlery. The job may not seem that interesting on paper but it really is a fun experience. Anyway, so this show I was watching is this popular comedy show called The Office. I was watching the american version of the show and it reminded me of what I do now. The whole setting of the office building and the people that I have to work with when I am there was very similar, aside from all of the crazy events that almost never happen in our office. In the episode I was watching, the main character wanted to win back some companies that had switched their business to the large companies with lower prices. In his attempts to win them back he thought that it was a bright idea to give out corporate gift baskets as a means to an end. He saw the corporate gift basket as an old sales tactic that has been forgotten in the world of the internet. Of course the whole thing ended with him taking back a gift baskets from an unwavering company head who didn't want their business anyway. Now I don't think that I am necessarily going to try to win people's endorsement and sales through the use of totally useless gift baskets. What I had in mind was the idea of customer appreciation and not bribery. I want to show the customers who have consistently bought products from me all summer that I do care. That is where my gift baskets will come in handy. I wouldn't imagine that this type of strategy is too useful for getting new clients, but people do notice when their business is appreciated. I think for me it is just a matter of having some kind of empathy for the customer, and not just a fear that causes me to grasp at business straws to make sales.

» debt

By China at 11:59 AM

Well, maybe the devil didn't exactly make you charge up all of that credit card debt that you are faced with today, but ignoring it can wreak hellacious enough havoc that it would challenge the devil himself. Notice the connection here - ignore - ignorant - ignoramus? You don't have to be a linguist to get it. Nothing I can think of ever reached a desirable resolution without some kind of action.

Now, www.debtelimination.net may not be your only way out, but if there is any way you can swing it, it will be better off in the long run for you than filing a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Of course, Chapter 13 bankruptcy is actually debt consolidation too, but I think you may find it a little easier to deal with it outside the confines of the bankruptcy laws plus it won't be part of the public record.

The reasons that credit counseling has become a popular business are obvious with today's economy. And if the price of food and gas go up much more, we'll all be seeking out a credit counselor. The credit card companies will wind up with no one to hassle and harangue if we all wind up finding a good debt consolidation plan. Then all of the professional collectors that are being paid to harass us will need to look for other jobs or possibly they will wind up using the same counseling service that we are. Awww, talk about fuzzy baby puppies, now isn't that just a happy thought to hold in your head.

Seriously folks, discussing the details of debt consolidation with a qualified professional may turn out to be the best thing you have ever done for yourself. It certainly can't be any more painful than dodging those unwanted telephone calls from collectors and I think but for the exception of tooth extraction with no Novocain, there is nothing MORE painful.

Get tough now. Swallow your pride or what's left of it and call someone who can help you. If you don't ask, you won't ever receive. If you don't try, you won't ever succeed. Old Mr. Can't never could accomplish anything. Today is the first day of the rest of your life…and I am running out of cliches. They are there just waiting to assist you in finding a way out of your present financial trouble. Give them a try. You won't regret it.

» promotional items

By China at 9:20 PM

My dad went to a pharmaceutical fair last weekend and came back with a bunch of free promotional pens. At this point, my sister and I don't bat an eye at any free swag he brings back from these conferences and fairs, but in the past, we would eagerly await his return so that we can get the latest pens to add to our collection. We wanted him to come back, and we would miss him during the weekend he was gone, but we also really wanted all the free promotional items he would collect just for us. With the aging baby boomer population growing, pharmaceutical companies are likewise stepping up their research and development efforts and coming out with more and more new drugs that help almost every facet of life. Pharmaceutical companies in particular like to give out promotional pens, maybe since pharmacists tend to use them a lot to scribble down notes, pill counts, and take orders. My dad has a bunch of colorful, oversized pens from various pill companies at his pharmacy. And my sister and I have more than enough of these colorful pens in our own rooms. I especially like the ones that are shaped like pills.

I guess companies like to give out these promotional items as a form of advertising. Come to think of it, it makes a lot more sense to spend a little more into a product with your logo on it to give to potential customers, rather than spend only a little on a temporary print ad that will be glanced at and discarded by thousands of people. Promotional gifts, like pens, are useful and people always appreciate free stuff. Maybe in some weird way people will connect these good feelings with the companies that engendered them through their free, cheap pens. Or maybe a pharmacist or customer will glance at the pill name on their pen one day and realize she needs to order a refill or want to get more of that type of medicine.

In any case, promotional gifts can be a really useful advertising tool. Of course, my sister and I didn't know any of this as we eagerly awaited our dad's return while we were children. We just wanted the pens and any free items that our dad was able to stuff in his conference bag, like water bottles or pill fobs. At least the promotional products were useful for the children of the potential customers.

» GPS tracking

By China at 9:52 PM

A few months ago my dad and I were talking about GPS tracking devices. While we were picking out cars we had to decide what features we wanted. Of course he wanted my car and my 17 year old sisters car to be equipped with a GPS tracking device so that he could know where we were, but we were against it. He did seem to have a good argument. What if we were to break down? (Of course we had a better argument. We would just call you dad) ha. What if your car was stolen? Again we were prepared with an answer: then we would get a new one. Duh dad. We argued that is considered stalking (obviously not a very good argument), but in the end, I'm glad that we lost and ended up getting it. Having the GPS system makes me feel a lot safer driving to school, since it's far from home. Also I read this story once in the news paper about someone who was car jacked and the GPS system saved her life as well as her kids.

I was watching t.v. the other day and I saw a show about women (or men in some cases) who install GPS tracking devices in their significant others car to try to catch them in a lie about where they have been and see if they are cheating. I also found out that the police need a warrant for GPS tracking devices, whereas private citizens can use them with no restrictions. This seems to me to be off a little. If the police using them is a invasion of privacy, how come regular citizens using them on each other isn't?

In the case of fleet tracking, companies for delivery or like a taxi service can put tracking devices in their cars to know what is happening with each one. It still seems weird to me though that all of these companies can "stalk" their employees and watch their every move and a cheating husband can be caught by their wives, but a police officer is not allowed to use a GPS fleet tracking device that could potentially save a life.

I also heard that there was a way to block the GPS system. If you are in a car with a tracking device and you do not want to be tracked then you could use "radio jamming" (for all of you cheating spouses out there).

My aunt works for a home builders company so last summer and the summer before I worked in their office doing secretary work on and off. I answered phones, filed papers, did computer work and organized some of the material, like the sample counter tops and the door knobs. Downstairs were the offices where I spent half of my time. Upstairs was a whole different story though. When you walked up the stairs from the offices, its like you're looking at a catalog of brand new houses. Everything you see is new and shiny. There are rooms full of just toilets of different styles and colors. There is a room that has different woodwork all over it and one that is filled with completely different tiles from floor to ceiling.

Mainly I spent my time downstairs doing office work or talking to clients on the phone, but every once in a while I would get to do tours upstairs and show people around the fake rooms. It was unbelievable how much husbands and wives or even parents would argue over the littlest things. The detail on a doorknob would send someone running out the door after their spouse in tears. We would have to wait until they calmed down and bring them back in and explain to them their options. Not everyone though was new to home building. Some couples would come in time after time as a hobby. These people would stay for hours in the show room just comparing tiny details and coming back week after week. They were more fun to talk to because they knew what they were getting themselves into and enjoyed every part of the process. My favorite people were the ones that just came into browse. They were curious about everything and the first few weeks on the job, I got to shadow people giving the tours so I learned so much from both the tour givers and the ones that asked a million questions.

Because the company I worked for was a complete home building business (they did the building, decorating and also the financial aspects) I got to learn a lot from being there just for the summers even. I know that so much work goes into building a house. There is a time frame (that usually isn't followed very strictly) and so many decisions that have to be made from the cost of the entire project down to the tiny doorknob details. I'm glad that I got this experience because I think it has prepared me for the future when I'm ready to either buy or build my own home. I think I will be able to enjoy the process more than a lot of the couples I have seen come by.

» bluetooth headset

By China at 6:51 PM

When I am at school in Indiana most of the year and people ask me where I'm from, the answer Chicago always gets peoples attention. "You're so lucky, you have so many things to do downtown" is something I always hear. This is true. Living in Chicago there are a million things to keep busy, the Taste, shopping, restaurants, baseball games and museums. The one problem though that makes all of those fun things seem less appealing is the traffic. Because of the traffic, a recent law against driving with a cell phone was put in place as a safety measure. People driving downtown are already crazy, cutting people off, swerving like they're the only ones on the road, adding a cell phone only escalates these situations. So headsets seem to be the best solution to this problem. The bluetooth headset is a wireless connection between a mobile phone and the head set. It fits in either one of your ears with an adjustable loop and is convenient as you can answer the phone with one touch of a button then you are hands free until the end of your call. Sony is developing a memory stick called the infostick with built-in Blue tooth capabilities. They have already finished the hardware and are currently developing the software for it. As a technology impaired person, I have to trust the opinions of the person in the technology department. As they explained to me about the Sony memory stick, I wondered why they have to make a special stick just for the blue tooth. Why do we need yet another memory card? Is there a different memory card for every little thing? I know of the SD memory cards and their extension SDHC which have compatibility issues and the multimedia card which sounds to me like it should be the only card and work for every kind of technology, however that is, of course, not the case. People keep developing new and better memory cards for different things, but the public doesn't always have the knowledge to understand what is coming out. They should simplify the technology to make it easier for the consumer. That way when they make laws like the one in Chicago there will be no confusion on what kind of head set device or whatnot to get. Maybe instead of making more types of headsets and memory cards they will develop some way to teleport the person you are calling right into your car so you won't even have to deal with a head set and eliminate half of your problems.

» pet supplies

By China at 7:43 PM

I'm going home this weekend to visit with my parents and get one of two breaks I will have all summer. I have to get caught up on all my reading by tomorrow night so I don't get behind in my summer course but then I can have the whole weekend off from thinking about school. I am signed up for the second summer semester as well so I will only get the week before fall semester starts off and so this is like a little mini vacation this weekend. I am going back mainly to visit and let my mom take me out for supplies. We go out once a semester or so and she takes to the bulk store in town to stock up on things I will need across the whole semester. We get big cases of water and bulk bags of rice and cereal which last me for a couple of months till I have saved enough to supplement with my own money till the next trip. We also get pet supplies for my dog Bosco and my lizards. It may not seem like something that needs to bought in bulk but pet supplies for a lizard adds up when you have to change their terrarium once a week. We also always go out to my favorite restaurant back home which is this great little authentic Indian restaurant which serves the best curry chicken in the entire world. We go there with all of my grandparents and my little brother who is going to be a senior in high school this year. Next year he will be having this same dinner when he's coming home to visit. Though he is considering going in to the military so we may not be able to bring him home when we want but when he is allowed. I hope that this weekend functions as a big stress reliever for me because this summer has been pretty lonely so far and if I can't get some sort of relief now then I may spend my week off at the end of the summer just trying to return to a normal state.

» debt consolidation

By China at 7:09 PM

After a great freshman year I think it I have finally gotten myself settled in to the college experience. I don't have anymore fear of the unknown for the rest of the classes I know I will have to take before I am done. I don't think that I have to really worry about my social life since I think I have found a pretty good set of friends to center myself around. So now I think I going to try and spend some time this summer turning myself towards my finances. I knew that college was going to be expensive before I started but I had no idea that I wouldn't get as many scholarships as I had hoped. The ones that applied for have proven extremely competitive and difficult to be granted. The only aid I really got was all of the standard federal loans which didn't even cover all of my tuition for the year. I had to pay a good bit out of pocket. My parents offered then and still have been offering to help out with all of my bills but I have just said to them all the way through that I want to do this on my own. I knew coming to college was supposed be a transition to being an independent adult and so I don't think that it would be mentally or financially advantageous of me to accept handouts whenever things get a little bit tight. It is my own debt consolidation and now my parents'. Also I feel like they have their own set of bills and worries to keep up and adding my own bills in exchange for me time spent going out on weekends is just unfair to them because they have helped me out for twenty plus years now. This summer I am trying my hand at trying to eliminate debt by working around sixty to seventy hours a week without any break until the semester starts in the fall. Most of this money will go right in to my savings account and then right before my tuition gets his with interest I will drop the payment and then my interest will stay low. I will still get a fall interest bill but I figure I will still be working enough during school to pay it. I am sort of liking this consolidate debts thing because it makes me feel a little more confident about my chances after I am done with college.

» dating service

By China at 3:58 PM

Around here it can gte pretty lonely during the summer. I have never been much for the traditional style of dating and I really do prefer my new style of just cruising. When the fall rolls around and the bars are full and the streets are crowded it is a lot easier for me to work my groove so to speak. I think that it's hard for me because I just don't do well in those stupid formal conversations and it's really hard for me to just try to fit in to someone else's interests. This summer though I think I am going to try my luck and try to change myself for the greater good. Most of the adults out of college I meet today have met either by some freak occurrence or through some kind of a dating service. I used to think that it was weird that people would meet their soul mates online. I guess I am part of the younger generation who's parents told them that the internet is full of creeps and pedophiles. So I have always been wary of going on to find anything reliable. This summer though I am going to get over those fears and jump right in with my own online dating search. I know there aren't too many people left in town and I kind of think that it will be easier to find nice, real people when everyone left here is here to study and save money. That means I have two things in common with anyone I happen to find and meet this summer. It's only been three weeks since finals week and already this boredom and loneliness is just way too much to bare for me. I need to have someone to chat with at least and really I would like to have someone to share the last year of college with. Maybe if I find the right person we could be together forever because I think I have really hit the phase in my life where I need to become attached to something. Life is just to short to go through all of it alone and I can't bare being alone anymore. Friends are great when that's all you want but I want more and I am willing to give up my precious time for that goal.

» auto insurance

By China at 3:29 PM

Auto insurance can be an expense that some people really struggle with, especially if you don't have a great driving record, and if you have less than perfect credit. It is important to shop around and find the policy that is right for you. Many people think that every company offers you about the same rate, for the same circumstances, but that is just not true. One company a few years ago was charging me about $150.00 per month and I had been with them for several years, and had not had any accidents or tickets or anything. When I began shopping around I found what I considered to be a comparable insurance company, offering me the same exact insurance policy for about $75.00 per month. This cut the cost of my auto insurance in half and saved me about $1000.00 per year. Now that is real savings. I didn't even have to work hard to find cheap car insurance. I just got online and compared rates with my current policy in my hand, and by the end of the day I had cancelled my old insurance policy and gotten my new one in place, and all over the internet. It was amazingly simple.

Most insurance companies do not lock you in to any type of contract or anything like that, so you are actually free to change companies at any time. This is a great opportunity to get a better rate, and if you don't really want to switch insurance companies, than try contacting your current insurance carrier with the lower rate quoted by another carrier, and you will be surprised that most of the time they will match that rate and you won't even have to actually switch. If you do choose to switch then don't worry about it, it is a pretty simple process. Once you get a new insurance policy, you make it effective immediately, and then you contact your current carrier and have them cancel your policy. Just be sure that your old policy doesn't end until your new one begins. You don't want to leave a lapse in your coverage that could cause you some grief. And don't worry, if you have already paid your current insurance company for 6 months of coverage, they will send you back that money in about a week. So you really have nothing to loose, and everything to gain by staying on top of your insurance company and making sure that you are receiving the best possible insurance rate and keeping as many of those $$$ in your pocket as you can.

» California flowers

By China at 2:51 PM

A friend of mine is in the process of ordering flowers and called for my advice. The flowers are for a mutual friend who is having her 21st birthday and she wanted to know if I wanted to go in with her on them. I said sure and we began both looking on the computer for different web sites and ideas. We really wanted the flowers to be something special as this is a special day.

Well, I really had no idea that there were so many florist sites online. There are a ton and the flower choices are very varied. At first I really thought that she was crazy for needing my help to make a decision, but now I can see that it is not such an easy decision. After looking for a little while at tulips, daffodils, roses, and carnations I finally stumbled across some California flowers which are so different and lovely, I just can't tell you. I never really realized that there were flowers specific to California, however there are and they are some of the prettiest flowers I had ever seen. Of course the prices on these tropical California flowers were a little steeper than any of the "regular flowers" that we were used to seeing, but I thought that they were well worth it.

We finally found a florist that would deliver a beautiful arrangement of these California flowers to our friend and decided to go in on them together and get a bigger arrangement. We picked a beautiful vase and had them put poppies, calla lily, and bird of paradise in the arrangement. This florist was really advanced, and e-mailed us each a picture of the arrangement when it was completed for our approval. Needless to say, they did a wonderful job.

Well, within a few hours we each got a call from Krista, and she couldn't stop raving about the beautiful arrangement of flowers, and that she had never seen anything like them. I was really glad that we could do something so different and special for her on her big day.

She told me that her boyfriend was going to be taking her out for a really special dinner tonight to celebrate, and I told her to be sure and have good time because you only turn 21 once. She thanked me again, and we got off the phone. It is really great when you can do something special for a good friend.
