» LOOKING INTO DEDICATED SERVERS

My employer put me on a committee to come up with different solutions to our businesses internet issues. For many years they had been dealing with the same internet service provider, and found that they were not receiving the kind of service they wanted. There were long waits for connections and the network was just not working the way they had expected it to. With this, they decided to put together a task force to address these issues and figure out some of the best solutions to these problems. We decided as a team, that perhaps the best way to deal with all this was to address it first on the individual level and then return to the group and brainstorm. None of us really knew much about what was available as far as internet services were concerned, so this seemed like the best plan. At home that evening I decided to sit down and investigate all the different options that were available and I was amazed to find out how many choices were available all at reasonable prices. I jotted down some of my thoughts and some of the information that was available, and came up with some Dedicated Servers that sounded really good to me. At the end of the week, we all got together and met on this subject and only 3 of the 5 of us had done any information gathering about the different servers available. I was amazed that some of these people couldn't be bothered, but I guess that is the true nature of some people. Honestly, of those of us who had looked into it we all had down information about dedicated servers, you know the ones where you have a server all to yourself, and two of us had the same exact website down on our list, which I thought spoke to how impressive this company sounded. That is who we decided to go with and we passed the information to the higher ups in the company. You always worry a little when you make a suggestion like that, will it work out okay, will they be happy with the suggestion. Well, I am happy to report that they are thrilled with the company and the price and we are on our way to having a more effective internet server and the best thing is that this service is even more cost effective. I am really glad to have been a part of instituting this change in our company.
